What You’ll Do
- Join the Health Plan and Provider (HPP) senior leadership team and help refine and evolve ZS’s Provider practice strategy
- Lead prospecting and business development efforts across Hospitals, Health Systems, and Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs)
- Lead dedicated, cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engagements for provider clients, ensuring delivery within timeline and budget
- Collaborate closely with internal ZS teams to drive overall Provider practice growth and innovation
- Develop and refine consulting offerings tailored to provider organizations, including care delivery transformation, value-based care, and operational optimization
- Market ZS’s Provider practice capabilities to increase visibility and drive demand across hospital and health system clients
- Stay current on healthcare provider industry trends (e.g., care delivery models, reimbursement shifts, clinical workforce challenges, digital health adoption)
- Contribute to intellectual capital and thought leadership specific to provider transformation and healthcare delivery innovation
- Build strong internal partnerships across functional areas to leverage firm capabilities for provider clients and represent provider-specific needs
- Effectively recruit, lead, and develop teams with diverse skill sets, with a focus on provider-focused consulting and delivery expertise
- Play an active role in building the Provider practice, including mentoring talent and expanding capabilities in hospital and health system transformation
- Represent ZS at industry conferences, health system forums, and provider-focused events to promote thought leadership and client engagement
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Life Sciences, Health Care Management, or equivalent
- MBA or Advanced Degree is highly desirable
- 10+ years’ experience in management consulting or leadership roles within health plans
- Deep Health Plan industry sector knowledge, with the ability to quickly assimilate new trends / findings
- Developed network of relationships with Health Plan executives
- Demonstrated experience of developing new prospects, driving revenue, and delivering high quality projects and services within budget
- Persistent nature necessary to lead client business development efforts with a new client base
- Executive level presence and communication skills
- Forward thinker and self-starter who thrives on new challenges, imagines solutions, and adapts quickly
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A willingness to travel to meet client needs
