Key Responsibilities
- Lead hardware system architecture involving digital, analog, and mechanical systems
- Participate in hardware, firmware, and software design trade studies and reviews
- Support design analysis, simulation, verification, and documentation
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across complex development programs
- Conduct root cause analysis and technical risk assessments
- Optimize electronic systems for efficiency, performance, and cost
- Mentor engineers in board-level design and integration activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline
- 10+ years of engineering experience or Master's plus 8 years
- Experience with FPGA, CPLD, DDR4, flash memory, and high-speed digital systems
- Strong analog, digital, and power electronics expertise
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills
- OpenVPX, CAN, PIC-SIG, and 5+ Gbps serial link experience
- OrCAD PSPICE, LT Spice, Mathcad experience
- Technical leadership in defense or naval systems programs
