Principal Gift Officer

The Opportunity

The John F. Kennedy Library Foundation is seeking a Principal Gift Officer to join its development team. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, this role will manage a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects while securing six- and seven-figure gifts.

• Manage a portfolio of leadership donors and prospects
• Secure six- and seven-figure gifts
• Advance the Foundation’s mission to inspire public service, civic responsibility, civil rights, scientific discovery, and creative cultural pursuits
• Build meaningful relationships with philanthropists
• Collaborate with Foundation leadership and trustees
• Develop customized strategies that inspire significant investments in civic education, public engagement, and the preservation of President Kennedy’s legacy

• A belief in the Foundation’s mission to strengthen democracy through education, history, and civic participation

The salary range for this position is $165,000–$180,000.
