Principal Gifts Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 10-15 principal gift prospects to secure $10M+ commitments
• Lead the fundraising strategy for university-wide initiatives like AI and climate research
• Collaborate with senior leaders to establish fundraising goals and engagement plans
• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising, communication, and volunteer engagement plans
• Cook up prospect strategies and collaborative cultivation efforts across departments
• Create compelling proposals and presentations to engage donors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of relevant fundraising experience
• Demonstrated success in securing major and principal gifts
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior leaders and donors
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required

Pay

$200,766 – $245,380 annually
