Principal, For-Profit Audit

About the role

As a Principal in For-Profit Audit based in Milwaukee, you will drive business development, grow the local team, and lead the For-Profit audit practice. You will manage projects, mentor staff, and ensure compliance with accounting standards while delivering exceptional client service.

• Develop new For-Profit leads in the Milwaukee area
• Expand the Milwaukee office Sikich team
• Lead project and team management for the Milwaukee For-Profit group
• Build and maintain strong relationships with For-Profit clients, addressing their unique needs
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
• Mentor and develop audit staff to enhance their professional growth
• Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client services
• Stay current with industry trends and identify growth opportunities in the For-Profit audit practice

Requirements

• 15 years of technical experience in the For-Profit industry
• CPA certification required
• Proven leadership and team management skills
• Strong business development track record and history of growth
• In-depth knowledge of For-Profit accounting standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
