Principal Finance, NACF Operations Finance, Traditional Sortable and Softline (TSSL) Finance

About the role

Join North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance as a Principal Finance professional and tackle some of Amazon's most strategic challenges. You'll leverage data from a wide variety of fulfillment centers to build predictive models, support field finance initiatives, and deploy automated solutions that provide forecasting insights to senior leadership driving decisions affecting millions of customers globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic financial analyses and models to solve complex challenges facing the business, using solid financial knowledge and business acumen with minimal guidance to deliver actionable recommendations
• Influence business owners and senior leaders through data-driven recommendations, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
• Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations
• Negotiate priorities and resources across multiple teams to facilitate timely and high-quality solutions while maintaining the highest standards of financial controllership

Requirements

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• 8+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 8+ years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages

Qualifications

• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes

Skills

• Ability to influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly evolving environment
• Builds reports by pulling raw data from databases using SQL into Quicksite

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $139,100.00 - $188,200.00 USD annually.
