About the role

The Principal Equipment Supply Chain Procurement Site Leader supports active data center construction programs at the Peru Ridge or South Valley (Reno, NV) sites. This role is responsible for site-level execution, coordination, and risk management of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment from purchase order through commissioning and startup. The position serves as the primary onsite liaison between procurement, engineering, contractors, OEMs, and commissioning teams.

Responsibilities

  • Own onsite execution of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (OFCI) equipment from post-purchase order through commissioning.
  • Serve as the single onsite point of accountability for equipment delivery, installation readiness, and startup.
  • Integrate OEM manufacturing and delivery schedules with construction and commissioning timelines.
  • Coordinate with general contractors, engineering, commissioning teams, and OEM field technicians.
  • Track equipment production, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), delivery, installation, and commissioning.
  • Ensure site readiness for equipment receipt, staging, cranes, and installation sequencing.
  • Identify schedule, logistics, and execution risks early and drive resolution plans.
  • Escalate delivery issues, quality concerns, and field execution gaps with clear documentation.
  • Support milestone verification, payment approvals, and site commercial risk identification.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, risk logs, and communication with procurement leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years in procurement execution, supply chain management, or construction delivery within mission-critical or large-scale infrastructure environments.
  • Experience supporting data center, hyperscale, or mission-critical construction programs.
  • Strong understanding of the OFCI equipment lifecycle.
  • Experience managing OEM relationships under demanding schedules.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve site-level execution issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within hyperscale environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP and source-to-pay systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, NetSuite).
  • Knowledge of commissioning processes (Levels 0–6).
  • Experience with UPS, switchgear, generators, transformers, busway, and cooling systems.
  • Experience working within an OFCI procurement model.
  • Proficiency with Procore.

Schedule

  • 100% onsite in Reno, Nevada (Peru Ridge or South Valley).
  • Extended availability during commissioning, energization, and startup periods.

Pay

Expected salary: $175,000–$200,000 plus discretionary bonus.
