About the role
The NAND Pathfinding Team at Micron Technology is seeking an engineer with a passion for innovation and a strong foundation in NAND technology or design. This role requires a deep understanding of non-volatile memory and systems, coupled with the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Innovate new solutions to complex multi-disciplinary problems by collaborating with team members with skill sets ranging from Si to system.
- Generate innovative concepts and take a hands-on approach to design, prototype, and implement solutions.
- Participate in experimental work, characterizations, simulations, and validation of new architectures and algorithms.
- Exercise leadership skills by demonstrating the ability to drive complex projects from idea conception through evaluation and implementation.
- Work closely with internal and external experts to accelerate project delivery and ensure high quality.
- Educate and mentor other technical contributors within the organization to raise their level of technical expertise.
Qualifications
- Masters of Science (or higher) in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) and 5-10 years of experience in NAND technology or design development.
- Passionate about learning and growing across technical domains.
- Willingness to step outside your comfort zone.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles of non-volatile memory and systems.
- Good understanding of NAND design and layout principles.
- Strong leadership skills and cross-functional teamwork.
- Self-motivated and significant problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to be deeply involved in both conceptual and practical aspects of technology development.
Pay
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $1,40,000.00 - $2,98,000.00 a year. Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses, and equity.
