Principal Engineer, Field Service - Ellendale, North Dakota
About the role
The Principal Engineer, Field Service is the senior technical authority for assigned AI data center environments. This role leads the resolution of the most complex and high-impact technical challenges, exercising expert-level judgment and applying deep system knowledge to stabilize environments, prevent recurring issues, and optimize operational performance.
The Principal Engineer defines technical standards, influences site-level strategy, and partners closely with engineering and service leadership to drive continuous improvement. As a mentor and technical leader, this role develops engineering talent, advances best practices, and ensures the environment operates at the highest levels of reliability, quality, and efficiency.
Schedule
This role requires reporting to the customer site Monday through Friday, 08:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
