Additionally, this role drives innovation through the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic workflows into automation solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of enterprise workflow automation solutions, including conceptualization, detailed design, development, testing, seamless deployment, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Closely collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, including business analysts, process owners, IT architects, and end-users, to gather and document comprehensive business and technical requirements.
  • Translate gathered requirements into clear and concise user stories, detailed process flows, and technical specifications.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end implementation and continuous optimization of business process automation solutions, ensuring data integrity and security, and rigorous testing to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide strong technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers, business analysts, and other team members involved in automation initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with a wide range of stakeholders, including business users with varying levels of technical understanding, project managers responsible for overall project delivery, and other technical resources involved in related systems or integrations.
  • Monitor and stay abreast of the latest industry trends, advancements, and emerging technologies in the field of business process automation, particularly within no-code and low-code platform ecosystems.
  • Evaluate the potential impact of these developments on the organization and recommend innovative solutions to further enhance automation capabilities and drive business value.
  • Create a strategy for automation platforms, covering technology selection, architecture, and development guidelines, emphasizing cost control through efficient resource use and reduced overhead.
  • Detail a cost-effective and compliant licensing model that addresses different deployments, user access, scalability, IP protection, and usage tracking across the organization.
  • Pioneer the integration of Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic workflows into enterprise Business Process Automation solutions, including the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) for automated drafting, summarization, and decision support within platforms such as Appian.
  • Develop and implement strategies for deploying AI agents to automate complex, multi-step processes across business functions and workflows, ensuring seamless integration with existing low-code/no-code platforms.
