What You'll Do
- Lead manufacturing and advanced technology facility projects
- Develop innovative engineering designs, process solutions, facility layouts, technical reports, and contract documents
- Guide cross-disciplinary engineering teams
- Provide expert consultation and resolve complex engineering challenges
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, operational reliability, and client performance expectations
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed project phases across architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural, and process engineering disciplines
- Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineering staff
- Conduct engineering studies, system evaluations, feasibility analyses, and prepare technical reports for clients and internal leadership
- Prepare proposals, presentations, and technical narratives for clients, industry partners, and stakeholders
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, or other related engineering field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive engineering experience required
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with engineered equipment and process solutions, practical in-plant/hands-on field engineering and management, and FEL project life cycle through construction for process piping projects are desired
- Expert knowledge of engineering fundamentals and specialty areas
- Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office
- Proven leadership skills and ability to lead teams in a collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred
- Deep understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
