About the role

The AWS Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Engagement Manager (EM) to lead the delivery of complex cloud solution projects. This role combines technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of AWS-based solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing complex cloud migration and implementation projects
  • Leveraging comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, architectures, and best practices to guide technical decisions and strategic planning
  • Bridging business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating engineering discussions and ensuring alignment with customer business outcomes
  • Distingushing customer needs into clear technical requirements and mapping them to business outcomes
  • Decomposing complex technical problems into actionable, deliverable solutions
  • Contributing to technical documentation and defining documentation standards

Requirements

  • Experience leading engagements using industry standard program management techniques including Agile at scale delivery frameworks and project management toolsets
  • 8+ years of cloud computing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience

Qualifications

  • Experience coordinating and leading large-scale Digital or Global IT Transformation initiatives
  • Cloud certification like AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect - Associate
  • Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers, and business stakeholders
  • AWS experience preferred

Skills

Applying AWS frameworks like Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Framework while demonstrating technical credibility across diverse stakeholders.

Pay

Base salary range for this position is listed below. USA, NY, New York - 201,000.00 - 271,900.00 USD annually
USA, VA, Arlington - 182,700.00 - 247,200.00 USD annually
