Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expert-level understanding of energy and distributed energy resource project development.
• Provide front-end project engineering, including conceptual electrical design and detailed cost estimates utilizing Caterpillar Electric Power’s products and services (e.g., solar PV, energy storage, natural gas generation, combined heat and power, renewable fuels, and hydrogen solutions).
• Provide design oversight including procurement and installation of turnkey energy solutions that incorporate controls, integrated switchgear, and any other balance of plant items.
• Work with third-party engineering firms and contractors for final design approvals.
• Attend site walkthroughs with project stakeholders during the development, construction, and commissioning phases of a project lifecycle.
• Lead stakeholder-facing discussions and project reviews supporting the sale of energy solutions and project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or other relevant field of study.
• Experience with communicating across project stakeholders.
• Experience with preliminary electrical design.

Additional Information

Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position. This position is based in Kennett Square, PA, and requires working on-site five days per week. Domestic travel up to 25-40%. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Pay

Summary pay range: $128,470.00 - $192,710.00. Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
