What You Bring to The Team
Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4-year accredited college or university.
Professional registration in Michigan or the ability to attain reciprocity.
15+ years of experience of demonstrated leadership experience providing technical solutions to electrical power challenges and with relevant experience as a consultant, client advocate, and/or account manager within the industry.
Design experience and expertise in BESS, Solar, and/or Electric Substations.
Field experience in renewables or electric substations preferred.
Ability to organize technical material into comprehensive reports and perform QA/QC reviews on work product.
Deep experience with project planning, budgeting, delegation, and management to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Experience negotiating project scope and fees with clients.
Experience advocating for clients with equipment manufactures and construction contractors.
Demonstrated ability to seek and establish new clients and build good business relations with both new and existing clients.
Experience leading and growing a team of diverse professionals.
Accuracy, dependability, and strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at any given time.
Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, demonstrate collaborative approach to problem-solving, and have ability to interact with clients to understand their needs.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to and conduct field work at job sites/offices in Michigan.
Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
