Principal DevOps Engineer
Responsibilities
- You will... Design, build, maintain, and optimize Azure DevOps Pipelines to support continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and automated deployment processes.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions to ensure consistent, repeatable, and scalable infrastructure deployments across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Utilize and support infrastructure provisioning and management tools such as Terraform, OpenTofu, and Scalr.
- Experience using Puppet configuration management solutions would be advantageous.
- Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual intervention, improve deployment reliability, and enhance platform scalability.
- Collaborate with architecture, development, security, and operations teams to establish and promote DevOps best practices and standards.
- Ensure pipelines are secure, resilient, and aligned with organizational requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and/or OpenTofu for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience with Puppet or other configuration management tools in large-scale environments would be advantageous.
- Experience administering and supporting cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure, deployment, and application issues.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and technical leadership skills.
