Job Summary

At F5, we seek individuals who can partner closely with the Global Strategic Pursuits leader to build and scale the commercial engine that supports our most strategic deals. This role requires a strong analytical partner who can develop and improve financial models, tools, and frameworks, and who can communicate complex data in a clear and logical manner.

About the Role

This individual will work directly with sellers and internal stakeholders to translate commercial concepts, deal requirements, and data inputs into clear, logical, and defensible Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)/Return on Investment (ROI) analyses. They will also be responsible for improving the scalability and maintainability of our modeling tools and converting strategic deal activity into repeatable playbooks, benchmarks, and decision frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Own key components of complex modeling, deal support, and insight development
  • Translate commercial concepts, deal requirements, and data inputs into clear, logical, and defensible TCO/ROI analyses
  • Work directly with sellers and internal stakeholders to deliver executive-ready materials
  • Design and improve financial models, tools, and frameworks with an appropriate balance of rigor, speed, and practicality
  • Operate as a consultative partner across Sales, Finance, Accounting, Legal, and Operations to solve complex commercial problems
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly and defend logic with internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain durable tools, templates, and processes that improve the speed and quality of commercial decision-making
  • Support quarterly deal flow and improve scalability and maintainability of modeling tools
  • Convert strategic deal activity into repeatable playbooks, benchmarks, and decision frameworks

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel modeling capabilities, including model structuring, scenario analysis, and output design
  • Experience in sales, sales operations, deal management, pricing, finance, or related commercial support roles
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and follow-through
  • Strong judgment in creating executive-ready materials, with a high degree of PowerPoint proficiency
  • Experience with SQL, Python, BI tools, or related analytical capabilities to accelerate ad hoc analysis and model development
  • Exposure to model governance, version control, or QA disciplines in a business or commercial setting

Pay

The annual base pay for this position is: $149,600.00 - $224,400.00
