For our client, a leader in the Information Technology space, we are seeking a Principal Databricks Architect Consultant to join their team. This role leads work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action, strengthening data-driven execution in a technology-driven environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable Databricks architectures for enterprise customers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver complex data solutions on Databricks
- Work with pre-sales teams to outline project scopes, timelines, and approaches
- Articulate the business value of Databricks to stakeholders and co-create innovation roadmaps
- Lead consulting efforts in architecture, cloud-native patterns, and data governance solutions
- Integrate AI/ML into delivery models to enhance implementation impact and efficiency
- Evaluate customer data ecosystems to develop tailored architecture and learning plans
- Shape internal and external strategies for Databricks and AI/ML through thought leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of consulting experience or 14+ years in IT and cloud architecture
- Expertise in Databricks capabilities: Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and MLflow
- Strong knowledge of data governance, master data management, and data quality practices
- Experienced in cloud environments: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Ability to optimize Databricks performance through effective design and tuning
- Proven capability to lead architectural decisions and mentor others in agile settings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with executives

Pay
$156,000 – $240,800 annually
