For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking a Principal Data & Analytics Governance & Quality Analyst. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a regulated financial services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Lead data governance councils to ensure policy adherence and alignment
  • Facilitate stakeholder discussions to resolve data-related challenges
  • Apply healthcare data knowledge to enhance data accountability and quality
  • Manage a roadmap for data asset strategy and evolution
  • Ensure compliance of data assets throughout their lifecycle
  • Provide consultation to stakeholders on data governance and quality issues
  • Maintain governance documentation, including definitions and quality rules
  • Identify and eliminate redundancies in data cataloging across domains

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree required; 8+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years in lieu of a degree
  • Strong background in data governance, compliance, and quality assurance
  • Experience in data asset strategy, management, and measurement of data maturation
  • Knowledge of healthcare data domains, privacy requirements, and industry regulations preferred
  • Professional certifications in data governance, management, or analytics are a plus

Pay

$118,691 – $189,906 annually
