Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end Costpoint Materials module implementations for large, complex, or strategically significant client engagements, serving as the primary point of accountability for solution design, delivery quality, and client satisfaction.
- Architect scalable materials management solutions within Costpoint, including advanced configurations for procurement, inventory control, subcontract management, material requirements planning (MRP), and receiving workflows.
- Provide authoritative guidance on government contracting materials and procurement compliance frameworks, including FAR/DFARS procurement regulations, DCAA material cost allowability, property management requirements, and subcontractor flow-down obligations.
- Serve as an executive-level liaison to client leadership (VP Supply Chain, Director of Procurement, COO, CFO), building long-term strategic relationships and identifying opportunities for expanded Deltek solutions.
- Mentor, coach, and technically develop Senior and mid-level consultants; conduct knowledge transfer sessions and contribute to the broader professional development of the consulting practice.
- Lead discovery and solutioning engagements for prospective clients; partner with Sales and Pre-Sales to scope, price, and present complex implementation proposals.
- Identify, escalate, and resolve high-impact project risks and issues; exercise independent judgment to navigate ambiguous or client-sensitive situations with minimal oversight.
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Deltek Costpoint Materials modules — including Purchasing, Inventory, MRP, Receiving, and Subcontract Management — across multiple implementation scenarios is required.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive consulting, supply chain, procurement, or materials management experience, with significant tenure in government contracting environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; APICS CPIM, CSCP, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; comfort working with procurement data, inventory analysis, and operational reporting tools.
- US Citizenship is required for this role.
