About the Role

The Stinger Finance team within the LADS (Land and Air Defense Systems) Mission Area is seeking a Principal Specialist, Program Cost Controls (P3) for our Production program area. This hybrid role involves frequent collaboration with finance, engineering, operations, contract, and program office teams. The preferred candidate will be located within a commutable distance to Tucson, AZ, Andover, MA, Huntsville, AL, McKinney, TX, Ft. Collins, CO, or Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Relocation assistance is not offered.

Responsibilities

• Preparing weekly and monthly program reports
• Supporting internal Earned Value Management implementation and maintenance, including variance analysis and monthly EV deliverables
• Development of quarterly Estimates at Complete (EACs)
• Supporting the monthly forecasting process, including stakeholder coordination and Rplan updates
• Providing support for internal program reviews, including chart development and presentation
• CSDR reporting requirements (1921 deliverables)
• Providing ad-hoc analysis and decision support to program leadership

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or related field and a minimum of 5 years of professional finance/accounting experience; or an Advanced degree with 3 years of professional finance/accounting experience
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and/or variance analysis
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas), Word, and/or PowerPoint
• U.S. citizenship is required due to government contractual requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting an Earned Value program or EV environment
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking
• Strong organizational skills; ability to lead and participate in meetings
• Ability to meet critical deadlines and drive process improvements
• Experience with SAP APEX, PRISM, and BW
• Experience working in a DoD environment

Pay

The salary range for this role is $86,800 – $165,200 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
