Financial Analyst, Program Cost Controls *HYBRID*
This role is being offered in a hybrid capacity (onsite & remote) with the preferred candidate located within a commutable distance to Andover, MA or McKinney, TX. Relocation assistance is not available.
About the role
Be exposed to many different real-world business tools such as the Estimate at Completion (EAC) process for Sarbanes Oxley compliance, AOP/LRP preparation using the RPLAN system, and the cost proposal process. Utilize SAP – APEX and PRISM, including Business Warehouse and Analysis for Office (AO) to provide technical analysis for financial reporting of various program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and variance analysis. Be an integrated part of a fast-paced finance team, where multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Use collaboration tools (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups)
- Analyze program funding profiles, sales outlooks, billing projections, and variance analysis using SAP – APEX, PRISM, Business Warehouse, and Analysis for Office (AO)
- Work as part of a fast-paced finance team, managing multiple tasks and demonstrating individual initiative
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years of related finance experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and/or variance analysis
- U.S. citizenship (required for access to financial management systems under government contractual requirements)
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with SAP/APEX/PRISM and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
- Knowledge of Department of Defense contracts and practices
- Experience interfacing with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, etc.)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
Pay
The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
