Principal Core Infrastructure Engineer
About the role
The engineer will help deliver reliable platforms that enable controlled information sharing between networks operating at different security levels. The ideal candidate has broad systems infrastructure experience, understands security-first engineering, and can troubleshoot complex interactions across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, identity, and cross-domain components.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:
- System Design & Architecture: design, deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure for Cross Domain Solutions, integrating technologies such as data diodes, guards, and transfer solutions.
- Compliance & Security: support security assessment and authorization activities, apply system hardening guidance, and implement vulnerability remediation and patching.
- Operational Troubleshooting & Incident Management: troubleshoot complex issues, monitor platform health, and participate in incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Automation & Change Management: automate provisioning, configuration, and compliance validation, and develop automation scripts and tools for cloud infrastructure management.

Qualifications
Certain U.S. based or U.S. customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization/occupational health mandates, and/or drug testing requirements.

Pay
Hiring Range in USD from: $114,600 to $234,600 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Schedule
Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits.
