Principal Consulting AWS Architect

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Consulting AWS Architect to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will focus on delivering advanced cloud architecture guidance and professional services for enterprise customers across public cloud environments. You will help shape technical solutions, align stakeholders across consulting and delivery teams, and drive consistency in how cloud programs are designed and implemented. The position also plays a key role in mentoring technical teams, supporting client relationships, and translating emerging cloud trends into practical customer outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional services for customers globally on major public cloud platforms
• Oversee technical solutions across multiple projects to ensure alignment and visibility
• Collaborate with consulting teams to create cohesive technical solutions that bridge sales and delivery
• Drive technical standardization and opinionated approaches for client solutions
• Support management with technical growth plans for engineers and architects
• Lead technical deployment engineering with customers on public cloud workload design
• Provide workshops and training on emerging technologies in public cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of IT infrastructure experience, including 3 years in large enterprise consulting, or 14+ years of IT experience with a similar consulting background
• Demonstrated leadership and expertise in technical architecture design and IT service offerings
• Proven ability to maintain client relationships and mentor engineers in project design
• Excellent communication skills with experience making technology recommendations
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while anticipating future trends
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other locations as needed
• Deep understanding of public cloud platforms and multi-platform solutions

Pay

$156,000 – $240,800 annually
