About the Role

What if your years of clinical trial expertise could directly influence how AI understands and evaluates real-world medical evidence? We're looking for a Principal Clinical Scientist to bring senior-level clinical knowledge into cutting-edge AI research workflows — helping ensure that the AI systems shaping the future of biomedicine are built on rigorous, regulatory-grade science.

What You'll Do

  • Design and review clinical trial protocols used to generate high-quality, regulator-ready datasets for AI training and evaluation
  • Interpret and audit clinical trial results to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with regulatory standards
  • Evaluate AI-generated clinical analyses for scientific soundness and regulatory relevance
  • Provide expert feedback that directly shapes how AI models reason about clinical trial data, outcomes, and methodology
  • Apply your regulatory expertise — FDA, EMA, or equivalent — to validate the integrity of clinical data used in AI systems

Who You Are

  • Senior-level clinical professional with hands-on experience designing clinical trial protocols for regulatory submission
  • Deep expertise interpreting clinical data for major regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMA, or equivalent bodies
  • Strong grounding in clinical research methodology, biostatistics, or translational science
  • Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold data to the highest standards of accuracy and scientific integrity
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously in a remote, task-based environment

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
  • Background in AI-adjacent fields or health data science
  • Experience reviewing or contributing to regulatory dossiers or clinical study reports
  • Familiarity with clinical NLP tools or AI-assisted research platforms

Why Join Us

  • Work directly on frontier AI systems making a real impact on clinical and biomedical research
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, expert-level work
  • Influence how AI understands, evaluates, and reasons about real-world clinical evidence
  • Collaborate with world-leading AI research teams and labs
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
