Roles & Responsibilities
- Bring operational subject-matter expertise in non-kinetic and kinetic options intersecting with the C5ISRT technical domain to assist MITRE projects with accelerating integration solutions to fill gaps.
- Work in collaboration with the government sponsors of our work and MITRE’s technical talent to identify and help shape MITRE work for the Department of War’s C5ISRT mission needs, to include in contested environments in a diversity of operations and mission types.
- Support relevant strategic initiatives of MITRE and the Division/Department;
- Build partnerships between your work and other MITRE work programs, including our internal research & development program.
Basic Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
- An active Top Secret U.S Government issued Security Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government issued Security Clearance.
- Experience working at TS/SCI, to include a recent SCI eligibility determination.
- Demonstrated leadership in kinetic and non-kinetic technology solutions related to C5ISRT-related operational problems, to include cyber operations, electronic warfare and electromagnetic spectrum operations, navigation warfare, space technologies, advanced sensors technologies, hard target intelligence analysis, and other relevant areas.
- A consistent track record of generating relevant, impactful product deliverables (including definition, completion, and technical quality), in a team setting.
- Ability to recruit, organize, supervise, and motivate teams of technical staff to execute task objectives.
- Strong critical thinking, analytic, and problem-solving skills – comfortable working in dynamic settings where task objectives may evolve or need to be shaped, or creative solutions to task impediments must be identified.
- Excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills, with the ability to write technical reports, present briefings, and persuasively speak to audiences of all backgrounds, including executives or senior customers.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment, establish and leverage a diverse professional network, and integrate contributions from a variety of resources (people, tools, organizations).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with technology prototyping and transitioning to DoW warfighters, to include special forces operators.
- An Active TS/SCI.
