Principal Business Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a passionate, driven individual to join our Business Operations team within the Office of the CEO. The ideal candidate is strongly interested in technology, innovation, and the Employee Experience ecosystem. You have a proven ability to lead projects from ideation to execution with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead the top Office of the CEO strategic projects.
• Oversee due diligence for partnerships with luminaries such as Brené Brown, Adam Grant, Pau Gasol, and Shaun White.
• Create BetterUp’s European market entry strategy.
• Develop BetterUp’s 5-year growth plan for the Board of Directors.
• Collaborate with Co-Founders on fundraising decks.
• Revamp pricing and packaging in partnership with a third-party consulting firm.
• Establish and manage the CHRO Growth Advisory Council.
• Lead the Davos activation, fostering connections between BetterUp’s CEO and Fortune 100 CXOs.
• Negotiate and launch cross-selling partnership with Walmart.com.
• Develop a strategy to expand the engineering team internationally.
• Co-lead acquisition due diligence on U.S. and European acquisition targets.
• Lead post-merger integrations.
• Drive annual planning and manage the company OKR process.

Requirements

You have 5-8 years of experience at Bain & Company, McKinsey, or BCG, with demonstrated success leading complex, high-stakes projects. Additional experience in a lean, high-growth scale-up is a plus.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is $194,000 – $270,000. If you live in New York, the base salary range for this role is: 216,000 - 270,000: New York City 194,000 - 243,000: Albany, Buffalo, Rochester, Nassau, Newburgh, Syracuse

Schedule

This role is a hybrid role and sits out of one of our US based offices at least 2 days a week.
