Key job responsibilities

  • Defining a flexible, league-focused, long-term strategy for the business and breaking that strategy down into actionable goals
  • Proactively leading efforts to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage sports partnerships that drive customer engagement and support our strategic objectives
  • Understanding inputs and opportunities of the category P&L
  • Managing relationships with external partners, including with leagues, player associations, and brand partners
  • Driving cross-functional collaboration to drive internal stakeholder alignment
  • Acting as the single-threaded owner of one or more major US sports leagues and all related retail business in the Amazon store
  • Leading business development efforts for assigned sports leagues
  • Providing thought leadership in building a successful licensed sports business that meets fans where they are and redefines the customer experience in the industry

Basic Qualifications

  • 9+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 9+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
  • Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
  • Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
  • Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, leveraging various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
  • MBA
