Key job responsibilities
- Defining a flexible, league-focused, long-term strategy for the business and breaking that strategy down into actionable goals
- Proactively leading efforts to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage sports partnerships that drive customer engagement and support our strategic objectives
- Understanding inputs and opportunities of the category P&L
- Managing relationships with external partners, including with leagues, player associations, and brand partners
- Driving cross-functional collaboration to drive internal stakeholder alignment
- Acting as the single-threaded owner of one or more major US sports leagues and all related retail business in the Amazon store
- Leading business development efforts for assigned sports leagues
- Providing thought leadership in building a successful licensed sports business that meets fans where they are and redefines the customer experience in the industry
Basic Qualifications
- 9+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 9+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Experience developing and executing on GTM strategies that are large in scope
- Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, leveraging various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
