Principal Automation and Injection Molding Engineer

Position

The Principal Facilities- Robotic Automation Engineer – Injection Molding Plastics and Automation at GE Appliances, a Haier company, supports the plant infrastructure, facility support systems, and manufacturing equipment. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, managing projects, and leading troubleshooting and repairs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
• 7 years relevant experience in maintenance, mechanical engineering or facilities management role
• Broad understanding of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems
• Basic understanding of machining processes: turning, milling, welding, grinding
• Lock Out - Tag Out
• Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent root cause analysis skills
• Demonstrated Project Management skills
• Previous Supervisory Experience and/or experience working directly with Production Operations and Operators
• Strong Leadership skills including interpersonal, facilitation, communication, and team-building skills
• Proven Analytical and Technical Skills, including Lean and Six Sigma tools
• Solid Computer skills (i.e. Microsoft suite, software/programming, and PLC)
• Ability to implement long-term plans into day-to-day operations
• Strong Troubleshooting and Programming of Automation and Robotics
