This Staunton, VA onsite position is ideal for an individual with expertise in scientific molding and injection molding process development who thrives on delivering high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability, quality, and scalability of new and existing products ensuring seamless transitions from design to production.
  • Design and optimize robust, repeatable, and scalable processes for injection molding and plastics-based manufacturing.
  • Oversee process validation activities ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support to resolve production issues related to injection molding and automation.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, scientific/injection molding processes and development. Automation experience a plus. Master Molder/RJG certifications are a plus.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, tooling, and materials; experience with mold design and troubleshooting is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex manufacturing challenges.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects with tight deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications such as Master Molder/RJG are a plus.

Pay
