Injection Molding Technician

Job Purpose

Set up plastic injection molding machines and related auxiliary equipment as specified by Engineering. Troubleshoot process-related problems as needed. Support the supervision of production associates.

Nature of Duties

• Operate hoist to set and remove tooling from injection molding machines
• Set up molding machines and equipment to predetermined specifications to produce needed parts
• Organize all needed equipment into an ergonomic workstation
• Process injection molding machines to meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot machines using scientific molding practices
• Basic computer skills needed
• Clean and organize department as needed
• Work in other departments as needed
• Other work as directed

Education and Experience

• 0–1 years related experience
• Associates Degree / 2-Year Technical Degree
• Prior Sanmina experience and systems knowledge is preferred
