Principal Associate, Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive large and small-scale projects based on defined priorities, ensuring scope, timelines, and budget are met.
• Identify risks and issues, and mitigate or escalate as needed.
• Plan, design, manage, and execute project plans through feasibility, design, planning, and implementation.
• Leverage problem-solving skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and maintain key project documentation.
• Partner with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership for effective project delivery.
• Forge relationships with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments.
• Identify ways to improve and streamline business processes.
• Exhibit a proven track record of project management, quickly structuring work to manage deliverables.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication and partnership skills to manage, inform, and influence outcomes across all levels.
• Display organizational agility to adapt to changing demands.
• Demonstrate strong consulting and collaboration skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
• At least 5 years of project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree.
• At least 7 years of project management experience.
• PMP, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification.

Pay

The annual full-time salary ranges for this role by location are:

• McLean, VA: $120,800 – $137,900 (Principal Project Manager)
• Riverwoods, IL: $109,900 – $125,400 (Principal Project Manager)
• Houston, TX: $109,900 – $125,400 (Principal Project Manager)

Candidates hired in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. Part-time salaries are prorated. This role is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
