Principal Associate, Project Management - Card Delivery and Planning Team (Hybrid)

General Responsibilities

• Leading and owning oversight of small and medium sized project management work
• Collaborating with teammates on larger initiatives
• Collecting data and information and using analytics and reporting to provide transparency to senior leadership and executives
• Identifying and implementing process improvements driving issue resolution/risk mitigation activities
• Tracking and resolving process breakdowns
• Developing and maintaining formal documentation including project risks, schedule/tasks and decisions
• Acting as a subject matter expert to effectively partner with project customers to achieve desired outcome or improvement by clarifying needs and providing appropriate solutions

Basic Qualifications

• A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of project management or process management experience
• At least 2 years of experience supporting, partnering or interacting with internal business clients
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• 3+ years of experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Confluence)
• 3+ years of experience working, supporting or partnering with internal business clients
• 3+ years of Project Management or Process Management experience
• PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem solving and influencing skills

Pay

Salaries for Principal Project Manager positions vary by location:

• McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900
• Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400
• Riverwoods, IL: $109,900 - $125,400
