Principal Architect, Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Working with our clients to understand their requirements and technical challenges.
• Using this input to develop solutions using cloud technologies and evangelize the value of your solution to the client team.
• Working with clients to develop estimates for the skills required and timelines to deliver Zencore projects.
• Acting as the lead technical member of the project team, providing delivery and technical oversight.
• Acting as a mentor inside of the engineering organizations.
• Being an expert in your technical domain and teaching and enabling others in order to up-skill the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud native architectures based on modern SRE principles and best practices.
• Hands on skills working with a major public cloud platform in a production setting, ideally GCP.
• Comfortable working with common DevSecOps practices and tooling.
• Ability to go deeper than most on one or more domains - Software Architecture, Tooling/Pipelines/DevSecOps, Kubernetes, Databases, and/or Networking.
• Ability to learn quickly, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in Cloud, DevSecOps, and Software Development.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex engagements.
• Strong communication skills; able to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Comfortable with being on video in meetings internally and with clients.
