About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Architectural Leader in the Health Sector to drive healthcare design and project delivery, fostering an integrated approach and promoting design excellence for positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead major healthcare projects, typically ranging from 80,000 to 800,000 sqft.
- Collaborate with North American architectural and engineering teams to foster an integrated design approach.
- Inspire local teams, represent healthcare design, and promote the global brand.
- Sustain and grow regional revenue through client relationships and business development.
- Manage project teams across various healthcare types, including acute care, outpatient, women’s health, behavioral health, and long-term care.
- Lead pursuit strategies, proposal development, and negotiations to secure new projects.
- Mentor emerging designers and thought leaders, sharing industry knowledge and innovation.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in healthcare architecture with a focus on specialty markets.
- Proven leadership in designing and delivering large-scale healthcare facilities.
- Strong business development skills with a history of client relationship management.
- Technical expertise in healthcare facility design, programming, and planning.
- Excellent communication, organization, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Licensed Architect (preferably in California) with a degree in architecture or equivalent.
- Minimum of 15 years of industry experience; LEED AP preferred.
