About the role

The Principal Architect (Data Architecture) is responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures that support the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect data solutions that meet business needs and technical requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data strategies
• Ensure data architecture aligns with organizational goals and regulatory compliance
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and standards
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data architecture and design
• Proven track record of delivering complex data architecture projects
• Experience with data modeling tools and technologies such as SQL, NoSQL databases, and ETL processes
• Strong understanding of data governance and security best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of data warehousing and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#
