Principal Applied AI Solutions Architect

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 annually

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver AI/ML and data solutions, ensuring reliable model deployment and operations
• Translate business and data science requirements into scalable AI/ML architectures
• Lead client engagements, aligning stakeholders on AI/ML roadmaps and production standards
• Ensure quality and observability of AI/ML solutions through testing, documentation, and monitoring
• Contribute to reusable assets and mentor team members while growing strategic AI/ML engagements

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in ML Engineering, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or Data Science
• Strong proficiency in Python or a similar programming language for production-grade data and ML solutions
• Hands-on experience with big data platforms like Spark, Snowflake, or Databricks
• Systems-level knowledge of network/cloud architecture and Linux-based OS for ML system design and operation
• End-to-end software development lifecycle experience for data and ML solutions, from design to deployment
