About the role

The Principal Anaplan Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The role provides strategic advice and guidance to functional team(s).

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end Anaplan solution architecture across Workforce Planning and Workforce Management domains.
  • Operates at a strategic level, responsible for setting the overall architectural vision and standards for Anaplan across the organization.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and key advisor for complex, enterprise-wide Anaplan implementations and integrations.
  • Subject matter expert in modeling frameworks, governance, and best practices, mentoring Lead Architects and other team members.
  • Ledesign and implementation of Anaplan modules for: Finance (headcount cost modeling, compensation planning, forecasting, scenario analysis); HR (position management, hiring plans, attrition modeling, workforce analytics).
  • Engages in strategic planning, platform optimization, and alignment with broader enterprise architecture initiatives.
  • Leads the design and implementation of Anaplan modules for: Finance (headcount cost modeling, compensation planning, forecasting, scenario analysis); HR (position management, hiring plans, attrition modeling, workforce analytics).
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy, security, and governance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
  • Drives adoption of new planning capabilities and tools.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Anaplan, including model building, architecture, ALM, and security configuration.
  • Proven experience supporting both Finance and HR domains in a planning or analytics capacity.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, workforce management, and organizational design.
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, and Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with integration tools (e.g., Oracle OIC, Informatica, MuleSoft, Anaplan Connect, APIs).
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Expertise with predictive modeling tools and techniques (e.g., Python, R, Azure ML).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across business and IT.

Qualifications

  • Master Anaplanner certification is highly desirable.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $172,200 - $236,900 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
