Principal Analytics Engineer

About the role

Lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. Partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a Real Estate & Construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve dbt models for clean, analytics-ready data products
• Implement infrastructure for AI tools to query data safely
• Define metrics consistently for reliable insights across platforms
• Translate recurring analyst pain points into reusable models and interfaces
• Establish quality and governance standards in the data development lifecycle
• Coordinate with teams to optimize use cases and reduce cycle times
• Collaborate with peers to maintain shared frameworks and best practices

Requirements

• 12+ years of analytics engineering or similar technical data role experience
• Expert-level SQL and strong Python skills for advanced data projects
• Experience with data governance tools like catalogs and lineage systems
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills influencing teams without direct authority
• Technical communication skills to bridge complex concepts between analysts and engineers

Pay

$165,000 – $240,000 annually
