We are seeking a highly motivated, independent engineer to join our Engineering Services Division in Huntsville, AL as part of a Missile Defense Agency team known for rapid advancement of new technologies and capabilities. This role focuses on program scheduling and data visualization, developing advanced analytical tools and robust management dashboards for multiple, simultaneous complex programs.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the MDA instantiation of Palantir's "Foundry" software to develop sophisticated analytical tools and interactive dashboards, converting complex datasets into clear, actionable executive-level visual products.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable scheduling and analytical tools enabling continuous tracking and optimization.
  • Provide periodic database management support and assist with SharePoint site administration.
  • Operate independently—translate abstract, high-level objectives into complete, functioning tools without step-by-step guidance.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Master’s degree in a STEM field and 12+ years of engineering experience—or a Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 20+ years of experience.
  • Ability to develop analytical and visualization tools.
  • Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Active security clearance at the required level (e.g., TS/SCI) or ability to obtain this clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting database administration.
  • Experience with SharePoint site management.
  • Experience with Palantir’s AI-based software development environments.
  • Strong ability to synthesize technical data into executive-level products.
  • Familiarity with missile defense or other complex DoD program environments.
