About the role

We are seeking a Principal Analytic Developer to support the Access Discovery & Tradecraft mission. This role offers the opportunity to join a highly collaborative team responsible for enhancing a mission-critical application used daily by intelligence analysts. You will work directly with end users, rapidly implementing new capabilities and improvements that have immediate operational impact.

As a full-stack developer, you will help design, build, and maintain modern applications while contributing across the entire software development lifecycle—from user interface development to backend services and data management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mission-critical full-stack applications
• Collaborate directly with intelligence analysts to rapidly develop and deliver new capabilities
• Enhance and maintain a widely used operational application supporting mission workflows
• Develop responsive user interfaces and scalable backend services
• Build and integrate RESTful services with enterprise data sources
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in Agile software development and continuous delivery efforts
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and modernize existing application capabilities

Requirements

Mission Focus:

• Experience delivering software solutions that directly support operational users
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where enhancements are delivered rapidly in response to mission needs
• Strong collaboration skills with technical teams and mission stakeholders

Technical Skills:

• Full-stack application development
• Strong Java and/or Kotlin development experience
• JavaScript or TypeScript
• MongoDB
• Elasticsearch
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks, including:
  • Angular
  • React
  • Vue
  • Ember

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and implementing full-stack software solutions
• Strong software engineering experience supporting enterprise or mission applications
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Ability to work onsite in Fort Meade, MD

Skills

• Customer analytic tools and mission environments (nice to have)

Pay

Salary Range: $207,000 - $227,000. Competitive salary based on experience level, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
