About the role

The Analog Validation Engineer / Architect is responsible for comprehensive validation of key product indicators (KPI's) as defined in the system compliance matrix for all analog circuitry in any given platform. This involves understanding what needs to be measured and automating those measurements, as well as reporting the results in a clear and concise manner.

Responsibilities

  • Build parametric validation plans from electrical specifications.
  • Write software to configure device under test (DUT) for required test cases.
  • Create hardware automation sequences to perform parametric measurements over process, voltage, temperature, and DUT configurations.
  • Analyze parametric data to report pass/fail/margin to electrical specs and generate summary reports.
  • Interface with Design, Product & Test Engineering, Applications, Software, Product Analysis teams to debug IP-related issues.
  • Research and recommend hardware required to perform required measurements.
  • Generate hardware design requirements and participate in schematic and layout reviews.
