Principal AI Pre-Sales Consultant

Leverage Strong Technical Experience

Leveraging strong technical experience within modern enterprise technologies, the successful candidate will be able to articulate the business value these technologies can bring and the challenges they can solve.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions and services
• Understand client business objectives, industry trends, and competitive landscape
• Create proposals, RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and statements of work backed up by effort profiles and commercials
• Help develop ROI (Return on Investment) and TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) models to justify investment in solutions
• Manage client relationships and build consensus and trust in Bell Integration’s capabilities
• Coach others on client agenda and customer ownership
• Conduct compelling business value aligned technical product demonstrations sessions to customers
• Support proposition development through technical and commercial content
• Attend local industry events and appropriately represent Bell Integration to potential customers to help drive networking and lead generation activities
• Provide subject matter expertise
• Support sales-related financial goals
• Identify potential upsell and cross-sell opportunities during pre-sales discussions
• Ensure proposals and statements of work follow internal governance to ensure operational acceptance for delivery
• Articulate the value of Bell Integration and our services to solve customer problems

Crafting Consulting

Demonstrate proficiency within areas of subject matter expertise, written/verbal communication, presentation, facilitation, interviewing, and delivery

Identify efficiencies and anticipate/resolve potential problems within solutions, working with internal delivery and the customer

Design, perform and oversee key areas of analysis and technical decision-making, guiding the overall technical and functional approach

Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales implementation

Person Specification

• Successful Presales delivery, including technical, resourcing and commercial specification of major projects
• Absolutely core skills and experience in modern technologies, including, but not limited to, various artificial intelligence concepts (machine learning, Gen AI, conversational AI, agentic AI, agents, RAG, AIOps, MLOps/LLMOps, AI guardrails/security, use case development, etc.), migration, data center and cloud technologies, and managed outsource and support services
• Strong design capabilities (medium to large engagements) – Understanding of Technical Design Authority as well as project governance and managed service (ITIL) methodologies
• Ownership of Presales engagement
• Strong understanding of markets, opportunities and competitors, as well as business issues and challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills – ability to deliver effective and persuasive presentations and demos to Bell Integration customers and employees
• Excellent consulting and interpersonal skills; proven ability to influence and gain consensus
• Structured problem-solving and analytical skills
• Collaborative working style encompassing all delivery disciplines
• Able to lead real and virtual teams to reach a common end goal
• Provide technical mentoring
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices

Skills/Experience

• Experienced professional services or technical consultant able to deliver Presales engagements
• Proven experience as a successful Presales consultant instilling customer confidence
• Understanding of AI and associated technologies, including language models, machine learning, generative AI, RAG, GPU clustering, training and inference, orchestration and containerisation
• Experience conducting technical sales demos of various solutions with support from engineering teams
• Demonstrable technical design of infrastructure and platform solutions
• Demonstrable ability to work at CIO/IT Director level
• Manage workshop environments, taking ownership and leading all aspects of workshop facilitation
• Demonstrable ability to provide robust and clear feedback
