Principal AI-Native Software Engineer

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks
• Lead technical implementation from design to deployment while maintaining product integrity and quality standards
• Utilize Claude Code to operate and manage simultaneous AI-driven development processes
• Design automation workflows to enhance the product development lifecycle with AI
• Maintain high engineering quality by reviewing and optimizing AI-generated code and systems
• Provide technical oversight throughout the project, ensuring adherence to requirements and addressing ambiguities
• Continuously enhance products post-launch based on user feedback and changing needs

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience, with a focus on AI-driven processes
• Expert-level experience using Claude Code in product development
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js and both relational and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB
• Proven track record delivering production software in collaboration with Product and Design teams
• Experience managing multiple AI agents and coordinating complex development tasks in parallel
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based environments like AWS and GCP, deploying production software
• Strong understanding of software architecture, security, and maintainability

Pay

$215,000 – $250,000 annually
