What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and facilitate therapy sessions.
- Serve as a compassionate, informative point of contact for clients’ family members.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions within Newport Healthcare’s clinical model and the Attachment‑Based Family Therapy model.
- Lead family orientations, welcome presentations, and family support groups.
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment and safety plans.
- Participate in treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field, or enrollment in a Doctorate program from an accredited or state‑approved graduate school (required).
- Board registration (APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, MHCA) or Psychologic Associate in the state where services are provided (required).
- Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents (required).
- Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma‑informed treatment (preferred).
