Primary Teacher

About the role

Anami Montessori School seeks an AMI-trained primary teacher for the 2026-27 school year. The school is located in Charlotte, NC, on a wooded campus that backs onto a 120-acre county park. It offers two primary classes and one 6-12 elementary class, all led by teachers dedicated to AMI principles.

Responsibilities

• Teach using the AMI method
• Manage two primary classes
• Operate the classroom independently
• Engage students in learning activities
• Support the development of each student's individual potential

Requirements

• AMI training
• Dedication to AMI principles
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in teaching (prior experience a plus)
• Facility in speaking Spanish (a plus)
• A sense of humor (a plus)
