Primary Care RN/LPN - Mercy Clinic Springdale

About the role

The Primary Care RN or LPN works directly with Mercy Primary Care Providers to provide safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, patient-centered care in a systematic way. The Primary Care Patient Care RN will partner with patients, providers, and other members of the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes for all patients. Duties and responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care under the direction of primary care providers.
• Collaborate with patients, providers, and the clinical care team to drive quality outcomes.
• Perform duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values, and service standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• RN or LPN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed; must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• One or more of the following certifications may be required based on the position/unit: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Physical Requirements

• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
