Primary Care Physician - Western Region

About the role

Inova Primary Care is a physician-led organization with over 40 primary care locations across Northern Virginia. We offer flexible Part-Time and Full-Time positions in Loudoun County and other service areas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others.
• Uses evidence-based standards, guidelines, and protocols to the delivery of patient care.
• Ensures ongoing growth and development of clinical skills and knowledge by assuming responsibility for lifelong learning.
• Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice, also serves as a resource and mentor.
• Demonstrates leadership skills through participation in program development.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Prior experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon start.
• Unrestricted VA Medical License or ability to obtain.
• Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and enroll as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor.
• Successful completion of medical staff credentialing for appropriate clinical privileges.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience in Primary Care is preferred but not required.
