Primary Care Physician (Oswego County)

About the role

Oswego Health is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Primary Care Physician to join their expanding team and drive practice growth within Oswego County.

Responsibilities

• Conducting medical histories and physical exams
• Diagnosing acute and chronic conditions
• Developing evidence-based treatment plans
• Ordering diagnostic tests
• Coordination of specialty referrals as needed
• Managing a diverse panel of new and established patients
• Supporting a collaborative team of administrators, physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and dedicated support staff

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine
• Current New York State Medical License
• Experience in primary care preferred

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to manage a busy schedule and handle multiple tasks

• Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

Compensation is highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
