About the role

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a BC/BE Family or Internal Medicine Physician to help grow their Primary Care network. Positions are available in Summerville, Mount Pleasant & Daniel Island, and candidates will work with the hiring team to find the optimal fit.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered and compassionate care in a team-based environment
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of professionals and advanced technologies
• Work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, partnering closely with specialty services
• Ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in teaching if desired

Requirements

• BC/BE Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Eligibility for medical licensure in South Carolina
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-based approach

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient clinical roles
• Ability to work a 4-day work week with standard office hours and minimal call requirements
• Excellent referral network

Pay

Salary grade Health-02, with scheduled weekly hours of 40.
