Primary Care Physician Opportunity
This is a 1099 position.
About the role
- Manage care for adult patients in a primary care clinic
- Average 15-20 patients daily for routine and drop-in/acute care
- Clinic hours: 0800-1700
- May include additional time for medical records, training, and staff meetings
Responsibilities
- Basic outpatient primary care
- Currently serves patients over 18, but may expand to include pediatric and obstetric patients upon request
- See all ages preferred
- Four 10-hour workdays with a goal of 18-22 patients per day
- Starting October, visit volume will be at 50% or less of target, ramping up gradually due to new processes and EMR system (Cerner)
Requirements
- Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice
- ACLS/BLS certification required
- Cerner experience preferred

- Experience managing adult patients in a primary care setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
